Default HP Release Control Licensing Query ---

    Experts,

Could any1 tell me about the licensing part of the HP RCM.
If I buy the software from HP, how many default licenses I get for this.
If I want to have a DR set up of RC, dO I need to buy a different license or else can I use the same license file to make the server up when the prod goes down ?

Is there any license dependancy when we go for integration with ucmdb and any other service desk tool ?

    Thanks

I was going thru the help documents, forums to get maximum details about the licensing part of HP RCM. In the HP Self Solve, Service Manager Licensing query, wud give some information about HP release Control application license. Or else you could also contact europe_password@cnd.hp.com to get some more licensing information on the product..As per HP,

HP Release Control (formerly HP Change Control Management) is an unsecured product. No license keys are required.
Customers who have purchased the product may install the product and use the software according to the number of licenses that that have been purchased.
Release Control may also be bundled with other products or within suites. As such the Release Control portion of the bundles/suites do not require keys though other components of the bundles/suites may or may not require license keys depending on the specific component.

Hope this is useful for ppl, who needs info on licensing of RC..
I will post more info as I get...

    Thanks
    DEV...
