Default Web-based SC Report Tool - online demo available

I have made of copy of SCWebView available online if anyone is interested in taking a look. It can be found at http://www.scwebview.co.uk and the username and password are both 'sc-resources'.

Requires IE 5.5+ or NN6, no code downloads.

N.B. the call/incident open times are mostly Dec 2000, so if searching by date use 1/1/2000 as start.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

It looks nice and is fast.

How is the data stored? Is it acessing a SC db directly or a shadow copy of the SC db?

Data is in SQL Server database. Application can only access RDBMS data.

The demo data is copy of v4 out-of-the-box, but a client is running live on a big SQL Server based system, with SCWebView reading the live data. It flies on that.

They use it to give end-customer secure access on the internet; the internet-accessible web server connects through a firewall to the SQL Server inside the corporate network.

The look and feel can be changed by using CSS.

Default Web view - Is this still available?

I get a "directory listing denied" error.

I know this post is several years old, (but so is my version of SC - <grin>). Anyone still have this floating around?
