The usergroup functionality has been enabled on dec. 1 so be sure to join the groups of Your interest.

To start with I will use it to allow users in some extent to control which boards are listed in the main index. By joining groups users can add boards to the index depending on interests.

F.ex if a user is only interested in SC5 he can join the relevant group and the relevant boards will be displayed.

Following groups will be created to start with:
  • Everything - will show all boards available
  • SC3 - will show boards related to ServiceCenter 3
  • SC4 - will show boards related to ServiceCenter 4
  • SC5 - will show boards related to ServiceCenter 5
  • Get.It - will show boards related to Get.It
  • Connect.It - will show boards related to Connect.It
  • Knowlix - will show boards related to Knowlix
  • Downloads & Uploads - will show boards related to downloads and uploads
  • This list is not complete - click on the usergroup link to see all groups

Boards in following categories will be shown independant of group memberships:
  • General
  • Documentation
  • Test

If You want to see ALL forums You do not need to do anything. But if You ONLY want to see a limited selection of forums You know need to do following:
  • Click on the usergroups link in the header section of the site
  • Find and join the groups You want to belong to
  • Wait for confirmation
  • Once confirmation has been received on the groups You should unsubscribe from the group Everything
  • Update the index page and You should not only see a selection of the forums

Please send me a mail or private message if You have any problems.
