Has anyone got a problem when fetching e-mail and auto create call tickets, that when a "tab" is used in the email connect.it stop importing the body of the message after the "tab" which causes only "half" emails in calls?
I have only tried the mail fetch with XML formatted mails and I know that this restricts the characters that can be used. For instance I could not use danish national characters then the mail would be rejected.
If You are using the XML formatted mails this could also the case for you, then there is no other way but to ensure that the tabs has been removed or replaced with a character that is allowed.
We have got confirmed from Peregrine that they forgot that when they programmed it. The case are now a Sev2 issue at their programming department. From next release 2.72 they also will take care of attachments in incoming mails.
Are any of the members in this forum using e-mail integration with ServiceCenter?
We are currently using Connect.It to send mails.
We changed to that because we and Peregrine could not get SCAuto Mapi mail to work in our environment:
SC on MVS
Lotus Notes as mail
Whenever a danish national character appeared in the mail it was it cut after the first character.

We have got the information from Peregrine that the fetching of attachments in e-mail will be available in the next version. regarding the cut after a tab are currently in progress as a Sev 2 issue.
