Default Connect it.. 1st step 1st problem

    Hi..

    I am using Connect-It 3.1.0.2632 GA,
    Servicecenter 3 SP3,
    Assetcenter 3.02 SP1-Build 895.

Everything is running on a Windows NT4.0 SP 6 - Server.

I can connect to Servicecenter without any problem.
But when I try to connect to Assetcenter I get this error message:
'Incorrect version of the AssetManagement API.DLL (aamapi30.dll)
    Please contact.....'

The aamapi.dll is in the connect-folder.
    Size: 1468 KB
    Version: 3.02.871
    Date: 22.12.1999 14:24

Peregrine checked everything and said 'it SHOULD work..!' But they didn't find out why it did not what it is supoosed to do...-> Working!

Maybe someone else had the same problem and knows how to fix it?

    I'm grateful for any information.

    Thank you.
    Frank

I am not sure about this but I think I heard that CIT cannot connect to SC and AC on the same server.

    Thank you Tommy..

Just to make sure I understand this correct:
SC has to be installed on a different server than AC or is it just CIT itself which has to be installed on a different Server/Workstation?
    Do you remember?

If I remember correct it was either SC or AC that should be installed on another server. But again I am not sure about this, we don't have AC so I have never tried this.

We have been running ALL of the mentioned apps on the same server without any problems. AC 3.60 SP3, SC4.0.9 and CIT 3.20.
Try this, set the CIT in advanced configuration mode (Tools - Advanced Configuration) and check the AC Connector, See the "Configure Advanced Settings" make sure that you press the button and point out the correct library for "Dynamic library to use"...
I had the same problem once and solved it by just re-verifying the library.

I still get the same message:

I use the aamapi dll file from c:\Program Files\Peregrine\AssetCenter\bin directory, do you use that directory too?
