I sincerly do NOT hope that this behaviour is classified as a "WORK AS DESIGNED" in CIT 3.2, have any of you guys/girls  experienced the same on CIT 3.2?
Problem:
We have noticed a different behaviour in CIT 3.2 compared to 3.1: When you had a scenario in CIT 3.1 using a scheduler and creating simple textfiles, the files were released in between schedule cycles, so you could open them with fx. Excel without any problems. In CIT 3.2 the textfiles are being held as long as the scheduled scenario is running (which may be always if you have started it as a service).
This means that if you try to open it with another product (like Excel), you get the message that the file is in use by another user. This is quite unfortunate as we have some other products that were supposed to read the created textfiles, but no longer are able to. We now have to stop the scenario manually and then restart it when we have read the textfiles with the other product.![]()
We have ticket 258807 opened at IBM/Peregrine Support on this, maybe they will come up with something during the day tomorrow![]()
