Default Different behaviour in CIT 3.2 compared to 3.1

I sincerly do NOT hope that this behaviour is classified as a "WORK AS DESIGNED" in CIT 3.2, have any of you guys/girls  experienced the same on CIT 3.2?

    Problem:

We have noticed a different behaviour in CIT 3.2 compared to 3.1: When you had a scenario in CIT 3.1 using a scheduler and creating simple textfiles, the files were released in between schedule cycles, so you could open them with fx. Excel without any problems. In CIT 3.2 the textfiles are being held as long as the scheduled scenario is running (which may be always if you have started it as a service).

This means that if you try to open it with another product (like Excel), you get the message that the file is in use by another user. This is quite unfortunate as we have some other products that were supposed to read the created textfiles, but no longer are able to. We now have to stop the scenario manually and then restart it when we have read the textfiles with the other product.

We have ticket 258807 opened at IBM/Peregrine Support on this, maybe they will come up with something during the day tomorrow

    /Steen

    I will test this.

There is another problem also, maybe not in the hotfix but in 3.2.0GA and the problem is that when running all schedulers the last input text file processed is processed multiple times.

We also had problems with 3.2 dealing with Text Files.

We had scenarios that worked perfectly well with 3.1 have serious problems with 3.2. For instance it would not delete the text files after processing. It stopped recognizing fields in the Description files.

I spent almost an entire weekend trying to get my scenarios working again.. Finally I gave up and just reinstalled 3.1. arrgh

Cool Tommy, you managed to hit a higher buildnumber than me, I found 3162 this afternoon in /pub/ConnectIt/HotFix/ and as you know I had to guess which one it could be, nobody in IBM Support found a way to contact us eventhough the ticket was sent back to their queue, this is a shame ...

Now the IBM Supporters must verify that build 3165 found in the /pub/CIT/HotFix/ actually doesn't have the impact.

I really hope the build 3165 is the right one.

Actually I found 3162 yesterday or sunday and that one had somekind of problem. If I started 2 sessions the graphics went completely bananas.
