    Default Upgrading A9901 to SC5

    Hi,

I have succesfully upgraded a lot of systems from A9802 to A9901/A9902 in the past, using the upgrade tool. Now a few weeks ago, I succesfully upgraded from SC4 to SC5 but now I started upgrading A9901 to SC5 with the following error message. I hope, that someone got this error message before:

Opening a call or an incident (cc.incquick.g/apm.quick.g) with the standard formats (SC5) results in the following error message (I don't have the exact words at the moment):

This record is not the most current, ServiceCenter will load the most current record.

    Thanks in advance!
    Lars

We currently have an open issue with this problem occuring on both calls and incidents.

    The error message is this:

    fileprobsummary) keynumber=690482) (apm.save.problem,update.go)
The record being updated has been modified since read (apm.save.problem,update.go)
It can be reproduced on a canned SC5 like this:

    1. On the incident update format remove the validation that make the activity type mandatory when saving.
    2. Open a ticket with falcon
    3. Start a new session and logon with bob.helpdesk
    4. Open the same ticket with bob.helpdesk
    5. With falcon write an update in the description but do NOT hit save yet
    6. Switch to bob.helpdesk and hit save without doing anything else
    7. Switvh back to falcon and hit save, now You get above error

The problem is currently with Peregrine development.
    Best regards Tommy

    Hmmmmm...., interesting error!!

Mine seems to be different, it occurs directly after pressing the "New" button. Then the record is displayed in apm.quick.g in read only mode.....

    Thanks for the hint, Tommy!

    Solution:

    Creating new profiles!

    Reason:

During upgrade the profile records have been destroyed.

    Many thanks to Danny Bartusch!!!!!!
