    Default Other Reports for SC3

    Hello,
I have only the runtime for Crystal reports, so I am not able to create own reports for Report Center.
Are there some Users, who have useful reports to share in this topic for me?
I am also interested for the scodbc drivers of SC 4, because it is said, that it is compatible with SC3.

I am not sure You would be able to use other users reports unless they are very standard and only use OOB fields.

Also be very carefull with mixing ODBC drivers with diferent levels of SC.

    Hello Tommy,
    thanks for answering.
But why does Perigirne offer this compatible list?

    Good question.

I am only advising You to test carefully so You won't run into the same kind of problems that we did when we used a SC3 driver with a SC5 server which we were forced to do because the SC5 driver did not and does not work with that particular report.

I am using the ODBC-driver 4 together with SC3. Works good so far.

    • If it happens once, it's a bug.
    • If it happens twice, it's a feature.
    • If it happens more than twice, it's a design philosophy.

Peregrine also says in the compatiblity matrix that the odbc driver for sc5 is a true Level 3 odbc driver but it's not. Peregrine Development even told me that the ODBC for SC5 is not a true Level 3 odbc driver...
